Steel properties
Impact-resistant steel, oil-hardened, with very good toughness at the highest hardness.
 
Applications
Blanking tools for sheet over 6 mm thick, deburring plates, splitting blades, stamping tools, marking punches, wood and paper guillotine blades, pneumatic drill bits, die stamping tools, cold shear blades.
 
Heat treatment

Hardening from 		870-900°C
In Oil at 80°C or hot bath
at 180-220°C
