Steel properties
This grade gives higher hardness values than THYRODUR 2542 and a better wear-resistance owing to tungstene presence, whereas preserving a good toughness.
 
Applications
Blanking and stamping dies for cutting sheet metals pu to 6 mm thickness, threading tools, drills, broaches, measuring tools, plastic moulds, shear blades.
 
Heat treatment

Hardening from 		780-820°C
In Oil hot bath at 180-220°C
